That's the truth. I gather Carreras and I got to tell you, top quality went down by lot in the recent years. Glasses made in China even although technically not fake, they appear so bad that they are just like fake! Slovenian and Italian are ok,but not the similar quality as they employed to be even five-6 years ago.
The evaluation saying these are fake is misinformed. I function for an authorized Carrera reseller, and handle their sunglasses on a everyday basis. Some of them say produced in China, other folks say Italy, and some say Slovenia. I have no thought if these specific ones are fake or not, but just for the reason that they say China does not mean that they are.
